Our Values

Founded in 2017, Matrix Multiplier Consulting is built around three core values:

• Transparency: We are committed to forthrightness in all our dealings. Rate discussions with staff and clients happen early and openly, we maintain active lines of communication at all times, and we are always open to feedback.

• Flexibility: Matrix Multiplier Consulting was founded around a desire for more flexibility - both for freelancers seeking to make a good living while having time left over for pursuits including education, artistic passions, and family; and for clients growing their businesses and not yet ready to hire full-time staff.

• Sustainability: We value sustainable, ongoing relationships with both our clients and our staff. While our level of engagement may shift as needs come and go, we are committed to building lasting partnerships.

Corinne Cooley has been helping people ship great web software since 2005. She began her career in a variety of quality assurance and program and project management roles at Expedia, including managing the launch of over half a dozen new Expedia points of sale in Latin America and Southeast Asia. She then followed her passion for environmental sustainability to non-profit Earth Economics, leading the software team that built the Ecosystem Valuation Toolkit (EVT), a cloud-based platform which uses economic research data to catalyze sustainable investment, increasing organizational efficiency by orders of magnitude. She began freelancing in 2016 after a hiatus to walk across Ireland in pursuit of her family history, and founded Matrix Multiplier Consulting in 2017.

Corinne earned her BA in Physics-Astronomy with honors at Whitman College, with a stint at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand studying ultra-high energy neutrinos. She grew up surrounded by Washington State evergreens and has resided in the Pacific Northwest for most of her life. When she’s not working she’s usually writing, practicing martial arts, dance, singing, or one of her other creative pursuits.
